We had some fun demonstrating how GeeFix stacks up against two wall anchor market leaders: Spring Toggle and GripIt. As you can see, GeeFix came out on top, supporting the weight of our intrepid engineer, while the two other fixings pulled away from the drywall – ultimately failing. Since filming this video, independent strength tests have demonstrated GeeFix’s unrivalled strength in the hollow wall anchor market – outperforming the leading brands in shear, tensile and cantilever load bearing capabilities. The tests were carried out on ⅝ inch drywall. Industry safety standards recommend ¼ of the ultimate load. The below maximum load-testing figures are provided as guides only and cannot be guaranteed.
